I dont usually write reviews, but I feel that this game deserves it. The developers manage to convey such a striking message with a simple tree. This game portrays the growth and beauty that can take root and bloom even after the world around it crumbles.

Yes, the game is short though it costs $4, but the price of the ticket is worth the immaculately crafted experience. Beautiful and relaxing.

The game is as all the critics/reviewers say. Fun, relaxing, and so on. But its super short ..you can sit and beat in in under 2 hrs. Plus its extremely easy. It should be 0.99 cents at most.

Great graphics and great game. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars is because it needs more levels.

DONT BUY THIS!! I suppose that I got what I deserved: I read just a few reviews, and I just ASSUMED that this title was going to bring me some sort of relaxing, zen-like peacefulness. (I seriously think that most of the people who are raving positive reviews about this have incredibly LOW STANDARDS.) SO, I shelled out more than $3.99!, and within 2 minutes realized that this program didnt possess ANYTHING advanced in regards to the graphics or audio effects. By minute 3, I felt that I had been seriously deceived, I felt cheated, and ultimately Im left with a feeling of anger and reluctance to ever spend a dime on "relaxing" crap like this. DONT BUY THIS!! Yeah, it was only $2.50, but there are MUCH better things in the AppStore that are FREE!

Those get the graphics and music were great but, and Im not a slow person by any means, it too k me too long to figure out how to win... Even when I eventually did, I didnt really... Get it completely... Just enough to play a few levels, most of which were by luck I thin..

I love the idea of this game. Its so calming to play and not too easy to breeze through.

This game is fun but I finished it in 2 days

The simple but elegant graphics help set the game apart, and the relatively intuitive gameplay means instructions arent needed (but are still lacking for those who might want them anyways). Havent yet finished but it seems pretty common that people think its a short game. I would have liked an infinite play mode where you can actually craft a tree rather than just jumping from puzzle to puzzle. I dislike that pretty much every solution is "make a single branch". Three stars for the lack of infinite/zen mode and for the so far not that varied solution set.

I love this game. Its challenging, yet super relaxing. The music and sound effects are subtle and lovely. The look of the game is beautiful. And the game play itself is without a glitch. I was excited to find the extra levels after completing the game. What a treat!!!! Prune is right up there with monument valley. Perfection.

The score is one of the most beautiful pieces Ive ever heard...serious. Along with the unique gameplay and style this is a nice experience that will leave you feeling good, while acknowledging a deeper message about pollution and nature (the message is very subtle and not shoved down your throat at all)...just sit back and relax - it won a lot of awards for a reason.

A staple in my Games app folder, this masterpiece is as relaxing as it is inspiring. This minimalistic style complimenting a challenging, yet achievable, goal is the type of app that reminds me that there is still gold hidden among the overwhelming garbage found in the Apple App Store. This developer has made a fan out of me and I look forward to continuing to contribute towards any apps he develops.

Prune was an absolute pleasure to play. The soundscape was beautiful, the graphics are so elegant in their simplicity, and the continuous, subtle movement induces a zen-like experience. I have never felt so relaxed from playing a game! I cannot rate or recommend this game highly enough. Brilliantly conceived and beautifully engineered. My sincere applause for the designers.

so boring... dont waste you money

Im not a big fan of games but I enjoy the soothing quality of this one.

The art and style are top notch, and the game is well built. But it suffers immensely from awkward controls. The biggest problem is that they use the typical pinch-to-zoom/pan around the screen, which is a problem because if both my thumbs are occupied by having to pan the camera, I have no more thumbs that I can use to slice branches, which is really the only thing I want to focus on. The clunky pan/zoom controls become even more burdensome when interactible objects like the drag-able sun are introduced. The challenge of the game should come from having to prune the tree in the right way, not from clunky controls. Its a very impressive game that would be perfect if the controls felt more second nature.

Fun and creative game but not worth the price.

There is NOTHING else like this!!! Ive NEVER (since technology started) sat down to "play" a game and honestly felt calmer the more I "played" it. I quote the word play, because its not quite like playing with any other app!!! I LOVE PRUNE!!!! I wish there were more levels. I was bummed when I realized I had completed all levels (which I havent done w/any other app either). I would highly recommend this.
